PLANNED WATER & TRAFFIC DISRUPTION
From November 3rd to November 6th, residents and businesses along A1A from Thomas Street to the U.S. Coast Guard Station north of Dania Beach Boulevard will experience temporary traffic and water service disruptions due to utility work. The City of Hollywood has hired Southeastern Engineering Contractors, Inc. to replace a defective 12-inch water valve near A1A and Sherman Street. Water service will be interrupted from 10 p.m. on November 4th to 5 a.m. on November 5th for affected properties along the 3.6-mile stretch of A1A. Boil water notices will be issued as needed, and traffic control measures will be in place during overnight work hours from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday.
